Welcome to the Family Leisure Centre

Located in the heart of the southeast across from Southcentre mall, Family Leisure Centre is a leader in the delivery of sport, recreation and community services for people of all ages.   We have expanded and enhanced our facility to include a huge fitness facility and running track, fitness change rooms and two new exercise studios - a great addition to our existing wavepool and waterslide facility, arena, gymnasium and multi-purpose rooms.  

As a community owned facility, FLC works in partnership with over 20 surrounding community associations, with the vision and mandate of promoting healthy lifestyles and active living within south Calgary.  Our four original communities of Willow Ridge, Bonavista Downs, Parkland and Deer Ridge have been joined by neighbouring communities Lake Bonavista, Acadia, Chaparral, Cranston, McKenzie Lake, McKenzie Towne, Deer Run, Diamond Cove, Riverbend, Southwood, Queensland, Mid-Sun (Midnapore & Sundance), Woodbine/Woodlands/Woodcreek, Canyon Meadows, and Marquis de Lorne Community which includes Copperfield, New Brighton and Auburn Bay.  

Open since 1983 and currently celebrating our 25th year as a non-profit facility, FLC continues to evolve, expand and improve so that we continue to be your neighbourhood recreational center of choice!
