Future Development Plans

Since the completion of our Phase 1 expansion in November of 2004, Family Leisure Centre has been actively involved in Fundraising for a Phase II expansion. This Fundraising campaign is called "Building for Their Future" and is a joint initiative between Family Leisure Centre and Bow Valley Hockey Society.  The Building for Their Future campaign has been very successful, and will culminate in the renaming of our facility to Trico Centre for Family Wellness, as soon as construction begins in the latter part of this year.  The Phase II expansion includes twinning our existing arena, re-modeling the facility's front entrance to improve access for users, improvements to the outdoor athletic fields surrounding FLC, construction of a new family change room, expansion of the food services area and increased space for parking.  More details on Phase II Development is available under the menu tab.

Family Leisure Centre is now starting to focus on our Phase III vision, (for more details, visit our Phase III Development tab) a complementary recreational facility in the deep south.  With our strong community partnerships model and our proven ability to be sustainable, we are well positioned for success.
